Job Summary

Loan administrator will be responsible for daily administration of all loans system (Abacus). After the marketing and loan confirmation from loan officers, the entire customer will be directed to loan administrator, who will start punching the data directly into system after interviewing the customer. Furthermore he will be responsible for loan files and title deeds management in the branch. The data includes:

Duties and Responsibilities

a. Loan administrator will be responsible for adding all the new loan applications in system.
b. Loan administrator will be responsible for changing any information in the system.
c. Loan administrator will be responsible to review all the required documents and prepare the customer file well before the committee.
d. Loan administrator will be responsible for printing all relevant documents mandatory for loan committee.
e. Loan administrator will be responsible to generate all the daily operation reports for loan officer, risk officers, credit manager and branch manager.
f. Loan administrator will be responsible to provide the data if required by the Head office operations team.
g. Loan administrator will be responsible to receive and process the customer’s requests related to printing and sharing information.
h. Loan administrator will also be responsible for initial loan application approvals in system.
i. Loan administrator will be responsible to add the customer monitoring information received from loan officers only.
j. Loan administrator will be responsible to send the special request and get approval from HQ on processes like back date transaction, penalty waive-off and interest rate change.
k. Loan administrator will be responsible to make sure that the loan products are disbursed to client in accordance with credit policy.
l. Loan administrator will be responsible to report Head of Operations in case of any discrepancies found in loan issue and repayments.

2. Documents management:

a. Loan filing management.
b. Title deeds safeguard and management.
c. Loan contracts management.

3. Others:
a. Acting as cashier in absence of cashier.
b. Facilitating the implementation of other technologies including but not limited to Biometric and GPS.
c. Managing mHawala operation where applicable.
d. Any other task assigned by the branch manager

Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in any institutes as data entry officer or relevant is required.
• Working experience in banking and financial sector will be asset

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized university or closely related discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Fluency in operating computer and MS office suite is required.
